六合彩网上投注app will host the 7th annual Liberal Arts in Action: A Celebration of Learning on Friday, April 5.
The day-long event featuring panel discussions, paper presentations, poster sessions, and artistic performances by individual students or groups, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. inside the Benham-Pence Student Center, the Joseph C. Shouvlin Center for Lifelong Learning, and select areas throughout campus. The co-chairs for this year鈥檚 event are Cherie Rebar, professor of nursing, and Molly Wood, professor of history and director of the Honors Program.
The Celebration of Learning is designed to showcase students鈥 talents across different academic departments and co-curricular activities as it unites students, faculty, and staff around this year's academic accomplishments.
The event will also include an opportunity for students to give Wittenberg鈥檚 version of a 鈥淭ED Talk.鈥 These talks will take place at 11:15 a.m., noon, 12:45 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. in the Alumni Room inside the Student Center. Music performances will take place in Post 95 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Panel discussions will run at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, and 1:30 p.m. in various rooms within the Shouvlin Center. Poster sessions will be on display beginning at 9 a.m. at the Student Center and Shouvlin Center. Dance performances will be held in Shouvlin 105, beginning at 11:45 a.m. Wittenberg鈥檚 Student Senate will also be providing coaching sessions for students who are presenting during the Celebration of Learning.
At the conclusion of the event, the community will gather for the annual Honors Convocation at 4:15 p.m. in Weaver Chapel, followed by an Honors Reception in Gus Geil Lounge of the Benham-Pence Student Center at 5:30 p.m.
