六合彩网上投注app is ranked No. 10 out of 637 schools for its communication program in terms of potential salary for its graduates by Payscale鈥檚 College Salary Report, which was recently released.
PayScale Inc., the world's leading provider of on-demand compensation data and software, based its annual report on the salaries of 3.2 million college graduates and provided estimates of early and mid-career pay for 2,646 associate and bachelor's degree-granting institutions. Approximately 637 institutions offering four-year degrees were looked at for communications and journalism majors. Numbers for Wittenberg alumni were $49,000 (early career earnings) to $119,500 (mid-career earnings).
Joining Wittenberg in the Top 10 are Vanderbilt University, the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, Santa Clara University in California; the University of California-Berkeley; the University of Virginia鈥檚 main campus in Charlottesville; the University of California-Santa Barbara; Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts; and Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Wittenberg's communication program reinforces the university's liberal arts mission rather than narrowly training a student for a particular career. Students develop the capacities to recognize and evaluate underlying assumptions and values; to work effectively with others through collaboration, team work, and community-building; to participate in deliberation for effective decision-making, and to develop listening, visual, technological, and information literacy - all knowledge and skills that are imperative for a quality life in the 21st century.
Other Ohio colleges that were ranked among the more than 600 were Ohio Wesleyan at No. 97; Miami University at No. 113; Denison University at No. 164; Bowling Green State University at 219; The Ohio State University at 226; Capital University at 271; Ohio University at 283; Xavier University at 343; the University of Dayton at 358; Kent State University at 363; and Wright State University at 555.
The PayScale College Salary Report 2018-2019 includes 1,679 of the 2,167 eligible bachelor鈥檚 degree- granting schools in the United States, and 1,393 of the 1,712 eligible associate degree-granting schools. This list includes:
- 98 percent of schools with enrollments of more than 5,000 undergraduates.
- 95 percent of schools with enrollments of more than 1,000.
- Enrolls over 96 percent of all undergraduates at public or not-for-profit institutions in the U.S. based on enrollment data from the U.S. Department of Education鈥檚 Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
Wittenberg's communication program offers students a solid core curriculum and depth in one or more major areas complemented by a strong foundation in the liberal arts. The student experience also places high priority on providing every student with hands-on learning opportunities and internships. This experience produces graduates who are well prepared for both life and work.
The personalized environment also prepares students to embrace experiential learning opportunities, from working with digital media and professional projects through the Communication and Business Leadership Experience (C.A.B.L.E.) to working on the student-run newspaper, The Torch, the student-run radio station, WUSO 89.1-FM, and tutoring in the Oral Communication or Writing Center.
