Wittenberg Department Of Art Presents Exhibition Of Senior Thesis Work April 12-May 11

The 六合彩网上投注app Department of Art presents its 2013 Senior Studio Major Exhibition in Koch Hall, with an opening celebration scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

The exhibition will display the year-long thesis work of Wittenberg鈥檚 studio art majors from Friday, April 12, through Friday, May 11, the day prior to Commencement 2013. The artwork displayed in the exhibition represents the values and goals of the Art Department, varying in content, style and media.

The exhibited artwork includes works by ceramic concentration majors overseen by Associate Professor of Art and Department Chair Scott Dooley. Students who will be presenting are Morgan Beam, class of 2013 from Greenville, Ohio, and Abby Malcolm, class of 2013 from Middletown, Ohio.

Assistant Professor of Art Crispin Prebys has overseen the works created by Maxwell Fleishman, class of 2013 from Yellow Springs, Ohio, who is a digital media concentration major.

Painting concentration majors overseen by Associate Professor of Art Edward Charney include Christine Avery, class of 2013 from Centerville, Ohio; Caroline Schmid, class of 2013 from Springfield, Ohio; and Leslie Winter, class of 2013 from Holland, Mich.

Photography concentration majors overseen by Assistant Professor of Art Daniel McInnis include Ashley Berg, class of 2013 from Springfield, Ohio; Lauren Houser, class of 2013 from Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Carey Keny, class of 2013 from Bexley, Ohio.

The exhibition is open to the public, free of charge. It is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
