Our fall semester is nearing its conclusion, and finals are about to begin. A popular tradition on campus during this time is our Midnight Breakfast. The big event happens tomorrow, Dec. 11, and Sharon and I will once again head up the waffle station.

New Leader in Enrollment Management, Legacy Gift

Every June 30th marks the official completion of our fiscal year. From my years in finance, the date was just that 鈥 a date by which to finalize all our accounts, ensure all invoices were paid, and prepare to close the books. On the surface, it鈥檚 the same process at Wittenberg, but this date means more than ledgers and tying up loose ends.

Community Conversations, Black History Month, Countdown to Commit to Witt

For three hours, our community joined in conversation as we brainstormed around Wittenberg鈥檚 future. The sessions were lively, engaging, insightful, and fun. I was particularly struck by the thoughtfulness as participants connected with each other in meaningful ways. It was just nice to have 170+ faculty and staff in the same place for the first time in a long time. The event served as a first step in a broader student success planning process we have begun, and I am excited to share more with you as we proceed.

I also want to extend a note of thanks to Rebecca Kocher, vice president for advancement and alumni engagement, and her team, as well as to our Campaign Steering Committee, and everyone who has shared their light as a proud ambassador of this campaign.
